Raw adds two matches to Elimination Chamber card

Why wait until your three hour flagship program starts to announce matches for Sunday? WWE decided they would rather spend Raw reminding us about these than setting them up... to be fair, the set-up is done, so I guess they just decided to let the players position themselves for these Elimination Chamber bouts rather than have incidents on television provide more reasons to book them?

You know what? I don’t want to try to guess how the WWE’s collective mind works, so here’s Charly Caruso:

The woman Big E calls Charles informs us Finn Bálor is getting a shot at Bobby Lashley’s Intercontinental title in a two-on-one handicap match against the All Mighty & Lio Rush. Seems like the kind of thing we should get an explanation for, especially since last week Finn beat Rush clean despite attempted cheating by Lashley, but it’s the Man of the Hour on a pay-per-view (PPV), so let’s just go with it.

She also breaks the news that a feud which feels like its been going on for months - because it has - will continue in Houston on Feb. 17 when Baron Corbin faces Braun Strowman.

Those matches join these already announced ones:

- Daniel Bryan (c) vs. AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe vs. Randy Orton vs. Mustafa Ali vs. Jeff Hardy in an Elimination Chamber match for the WWE championship

- Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville vs. Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan vs. Carmella & Naomi vs. Nia Jax & Tamina vs. Peyton Royce & Billie Kay vs. Sasha Bank & Bayley in an Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles

- Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Ruby Riott for the Raw Women’s championship

- The Usos vs. The Miz & Shane McMahon (c) for the SmackDown Tag Team titles

- Buddy Murphy (c) vs. Akira Tozawa for the Cruiserweight championship
